Midwest Gypsy is built on family—on the stories that shape mine, and maybe yours too.

I have a group chat on my phone that lights up almost daily. It’s just me, my aunt, and my sister. We live about eight hours apart, but we stay close through garden updates and everyday magic.

Last year, as the season turned, my aunt offered her lavender harvest for my candles. I said a resounding YES.

💜 Little-known fact: I’ve planted different varieties of lavender over the past six years and never once had a harvest. I can grow a lot of things—but lavender? Not my gift.

So again this year, my aunt will be the source of the beautiful, aromatic lavender in every Fresh Lavender candle. Grown with love in a small town in Northern Michigan, harvested by hand, and 100% chemical-free.

It’s more than a scent—it’s a story of connection, resilience, and shared roots.
