Meet the Maker
Candles with a soul. Stories in every scent.
Some things begin quietly. A need for warmth. A craving for creativity. A moment where you realize you want to make something that feels like home. That’s how Midwest Gypsy came to be.
It started with a few candles poured for holiday gift baskets—an attempt to stretch the season and share something personal. I didn’t sell a single one that year. But I kept going. Because something about the process—the scent blending, the slow pour, the ritual of it all—felt like remembering who I was.
My mother-in-law used to sell mason jar candles, and I still remember the way they smelled when I opened them. That memory lives in every wick I pour. So does the lavender from my aunt’s garden, the bourbon warmth that reminds me of my dad’s mixologist magic, and the caramel latte that’s carried me through more mornings than I can count.
I’m a mom, a maker, and a big dreamer. I believe in books over clutter, in creating experiences instead of collecting things, and in finding beauty in the everyday. Midwest Gypsy is my way of bottling those moments—one scent, one story, one flame at a time.
Whether you’re drawn to cozy vanilla, fresh lavender, bourbon spice, or a scent that feels like a hug in a mug—there’s something here waiting to become part of your story.
**Crafted with heart. Burned with intention.**
Let the wick lead you home.
